  • Maintains files and records in probate, adoptions, mental commitments, guardianship/protective placement, juvenile delinquencies/ordinances, juvenile CHIPS/JIPS, juvenile guardianships and TPR matters.
  • Monitors all case types under the probate and juvenile court branches to comply with Statutory guidelines in filing of all petitions, applications, inventories, accountings, reports, calendaring hearings, notifying all parties of all activities and hearings.
  • Administer oaths, certify acknowledgements and approve sufficiency of bonds.
  • Makes discretionary, independent decisions as an officer of the Court.
  • Performs all duties of Deputy Register in Probate and Deputy Juvenile Clerk as described by statute.
  • The work is performed under the direction of and serves at the pleasure of the Circuit Court Judges.įull Time: 37.5 hours per week/1950 hours per year. In addition the employee serves as the Deputy Clerk of Juvenile Court.

The employee is responsible for maintaining all electronic files and records for probate guardianships, protective placements, mental commitments, juvenile court matters and adoptions and supervising an employee performing similar, but lower level work. The Deputy Register in Probate is a statutory position under Wis.
